Since 1997, the Rotary Club of Mordialloc has run an annual golf day to raise funds to support Interplast. The event is usually held around April-May each year and has raised approximately $100,000 over this period.
Interplast Australia and New Zealand is a non-profit incorporated company established as a joint project between the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Rotary. Funds raised by the Interplast Golf Day will be used to finance volunteer surgical teams performing reconstructive surgery to correct severe facial deformities among young people in South East Asia and the Pacific Islands. The 2016 Interplast Golf day was be held at Woodlands Golf Club, Mordialloc on Friday 15 April. Weather condition and were very conducive to the 63 players enjoying a fine day of golf.
